Maria (Mhay) D. Danan

Mhay is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College and Prince Georges Community College, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She is a Maryland Registered Tax Preparer and a Certified ProAdvisor for QuickBooks online.

Mhay has 18 years of varied accounting experience in private and public accounting with an emphasis in auditing, corporate, partnership, individual, non-profit, and fiduciary tax returns. She has served as a senior accountant and manager in charge of audits of government, nonprofit organizations, and ERISA audits.

Mhay is a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Mhay is a devoted member of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo), where she has served as the locale’s auditor for over ten years. She is in charge of overseeing the financial affairs and weekly financial reporting for the church.

Mhay loves traveling around the world with her husband and two beautiful children. Seeing different cultures and people and trying out exquisite cuisine is what they all enjoy as a family. The Island of Aruba is their all-time favorite to visit.
