Sherri L. Bowling

Sherri grew up on a farm, was involved with the family business, and is a successful competitive equestrian. She’s been the Billing Manager for DeBlanc, Murphy & Murphy for ten years and, throughout her career, has worked in accounts receivables, radiology transcription, bookkeeping, and medical office insurance and billing.

Sherri attended the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata, the TESST Electronics & Computer Institute in Alexandria, and the Medix School in Silver Spring. She has certifications in Basic Accounting, Computer Office Specialist, and Medical Assistant.

She has been married to her husband, Marty, for 38 years. They have two adult children (Shaun and Kristi), two granddaughters (Charlotte and Abbi), and two dogs named Kodi and Lexy.

As the children were growing up, Sherri and her husband spent much of their time traveling with them to sporting events (baseball teams and competitive gymnastics). For eight years, Sherri was a volunteer and treasurer for her daughter’s gymnastics booster club.

Sherri cares about our planet and environment and always recycles when she can. She’s also a long-standing Washington Commanders and Baltimore Orioles fan. She enjoys shopping, watching movies (especially romantic comedies), the beach, Caribbean cruises, and outings on the boat with her husband (watching him catch blue crabs). She always looks forward to spending time with family, including annual family vacations. And she absolutely adores her two granddaughters.
